- Tow driver did hit & run - - - 2/12/2021 - comment
My neighbor called to have a non-running VW van towed by Laguna Beach Towing & Recovery. The driver took out a 10+ year old bougainvillea bush that was tied to the fence. Hit and run style. Driver didn't leave a note. Left the 12 feet of bush hanging in the street. Broke the trunk off at ground level. Large tire tracks on the ground. Laguna Beach police are following up the hit and run report. Maybe the city of Laguna Beach will reconsider the contract with that towing company. Now we need to pay for removal, fence painting and buying another large mature bougainvillea bush.
